Do you carry organic or sustainable wine?Updated 4 months ago

At Bright Cellars, we want to make good wine accessible for everyone. We develop new wines to suit our members' palates, and we do our best to incorporate the best practices of the industry.

At this time, we do not carry no-sulfites-added wines*, nor can we guarantee the wines in our inventory are vegan**. As we grow we hope to offer vegan, kosher, organic, etc. wines in the future!

However, we have begun to offer wines that are sustainably grown! Check out our Terraform Red Blend or our Dead Stars & Black Holes Pinot Grigio. Both were created using sustainable techniques designed to minimize the impact on the land and pay those benefits forward into the future!

*No-sulfites-added wines were developed as a way to combat the unpleasant 'wine headache' effect. However, sulfites are rarely the cause of this! Check out this article for more info, and please contact [email protected] if you’re interested in possible suggestions.

**'Fining' is the process that filters unwanted particles and chemical compounds from your wine before it is bottled. A fining agent is introduced to the wine, binds to the compounds, and then is filtered out. The resulting wine is more stable and consistent as a product, and also tastes better! However, some fining agents are made from animal by-products. That's why, even though only trace elements interact with the wine, we can't guarantee the wine itself is vegan.
